Great stories here in this book, I purchased it after meeting the author in Paihia. Glad to have read it. I will admit it was a bit hard with the stops and starts, quite a few grammatical errors, first person to third person etc that need to be ironed out. Nothing that couldn't be done with a bit of peer proof-reading. Aside from that, really enjoyed the photos and reading about the actual history of these amazing cetaceans and their stories in the Bay of islands. The author is obviously passionate and informed about these creatures and it really shows through in his book. Nice light reading with a good underlying environmental message.
A very well written story, could be real life sea adventure. Its good enough to turn into an animated film.
Would be a rival to Nemo.
